Certifications and Expertise

Ann Cheri Foxx, MD, D.ABA, graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Charleston, where she also completed an internship in general surgery before pursuing a residency in anesthesiology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

After many years of practicing as an anesthesiologist in the peri-operative setting, she went on to complete a fellowship in interventional pain management with a strong concentration in multidisciplinary approaches at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

The lessons Dr. Foxx learned in alleviating pain during and after major surgeries shaped how she provides pain management therapies to patients in an outpatient setting. She also uses the transferable skills she has gained while serving as a physician anesthesiologist to more effectively treat patients with complex pain conditions.
