Dr. Foxx developed expertise in the treatment of cancer pain at the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University in its continuity clinic, providing cancer pain management services and procedures. She also received fellowship training in the management and implantation of intrathecal pumps for cancer pain management.
In addition, Dr. Foxx worked alongside the late Dr. Lisa Stearns, a world-leader in intrathecal implantation and a great mentor. Training experiences such as these have enabled Dr. Foxx to better serve her patients and regularly act as an expert resource to her peers.
